Jehnsen 2013-Part 2

Aunt Becky (and Uncle Brett) arrived to the lake a few days into our vacation and I took this picture about 30 seconds after they walked in the door. The babies flock to her!

Jehnsen 2013-Part 1

Earlier this month we went on our annual family vacation to the Lake. As always, we had a great time. I like being able to look back at the past years and see how much the babies have grown. You can see 2011 here and 2012 here.

I packed a few toys that I thought would help keep the babies quiet in the morning so others could sleep. Let's just say play dough keeps this toddler mildly entertained. They were hardly quiet.

I packed a suitcase full of toys and put it in the playpen and surprisingly it kept them entertained for more than 5 minutes. Why haven't I done this before?!

Bellie liked fishing with Grandpa. Just don't expect her to touch the fish...

unless someone is willing to touch it with her.

Bobby learned how to climb onto the furniture. Let's just say this isn't one of my favorite things he's learned. Good thing he's cute.

It's fun having older cousins with which to play dress up.

Sibling Love 2

In August of 2012, I wrote this post. At the time, Isabelle was about 19 months old and Bobby was almost 3 months old. Well, the bumbo seat found its way out of storage recently. It was so funny to watch Bobby crawl in and out of it and get frustrated because he's a little too chubby for it now! Although he was irritated, he still wanted to play with it. If I tried to take him out of it, he just got more mad and would cry. So, I did what any typical mom would do and grabbed the camera. My baby isn't so small anymore! :-(

I had to laugh because when he tried getting out of it, it wasn't so easy. It just went with him.

As expected, Bellie wanted her turn, too. This time though, Bobby wasn't as nice. Notice how he went right for pulling her hair!!!

Thankfully, a nice box from Aldi provided much more room for him and he was a happier camper..but..

.....then began round 2 of the fighting.

 

My baby's no longer that little. Sad.
