April Happenings

Love catching these sweet reading moments.

Daddy went out of town for a few days, so Bobby insisted on wearing clothes like Daddy since he would miss him.

Daddy left a treat for all of us!

Grapevines

Caught Ilya washing dishes and later, putting out pretend fires in the wood stove. She was a busy girl.

Sleepover in Mommy's bed since Daddy was out of town. Mommy ended up sleeping at the foot of the bed.

Everything's Comin' Up Roses

Our yard happens to have a lot of rose bushes which need to be watered often. It's hard to see in this picture, but when our guards water these plants, they pretty much flood them and it's a small pool which the kids make an even bigger mess out of. Our clothesline happens to hang right over these plants, so if I accidentally drop something, I get to start all over again. I guess that makes laundry more interesting.

Speaking of roses...

Isabelle and I went on a shopping trip to the fabric store and the grocery store. She just had to have the unicorn fabric! She shared it with her sister.

My new dress, made by the woman who watches our kids. She made matching shirts for the girls. (So far, I've only gotten a picture of Isabelle wearing it.)

My handsome boy wearing his sister's rain boots.

The dog was sick the other day, so the girls were very concerned for him. I found them like this...

A "find" at the local shop. Expired in January of 2017. HA!

Easter 2018-Part 2

Ilya wrote for the first time today! She knows how to write her name, but I didn't know she was able to write more than that! It was such a special surprise for me!!

Easter 2018-Part 1

Dying eggs went much more smoothly than I thought it would. The trick to getting them to let the eggs sit in the cup was to have them practice counting in our new language!

The kids wrote their letters to the Easter Bunny and taped them to the living room window. So cute! They were so excited they could hardly sleep!

Easter Egg hunt with friends in our front yard

Had a picnic lunch in the mountains with friends to celebrate.
