May 1st we moved to our new city, into a beautiful new house. Well, mostly beautiful. It didn't have a kitchen! So, Bob designed one and with the help of many skilled laborers, we have a new kitchen and large bathroom on our main level. For the first month, we had a make-shift kitchen upstairs, which meant lots of washing dishes in the bathtub. Our kids really settled in well. We have two new guards, whom they love. Many times our guards will invite them to drink tea and eat with them, and the kids look forward to that. One guard seems a little more kid-friendly than the other, but that's ok. They both seem to be good workers and very kind. We went back to language school about a month after moving, and it was so good for me! I don't have alot of opportunities to leave the house, so this was a nice change of pace. It did make for some long days, but it was still worth it. I have a new house helper, that helps with cooking local food for us and giving some language lessons to the kids. Bob is starting to learn more about his role at the office and is starting to make lots of new friends. Our first local holiday was a success. We had quite a few guests considering we had only been in the area for about 6 weeks. Unfortunately, I erased most of the photos on my phone during this time because we were getting ready to leave for vacation. So, just a short summary of the first 6 weeks will have to suffice for now.
