Christmas 2017

When you can't fit a fake tree in your suitcase, you have to be creative!

The local bread store sells dough, so I made some Cinnamon Rolls for Christmas morning.

Christmas night we watched a movie together. It was a great day of celebration in our new home.

Moving Day!

On December 4, 2017, we headed to the airport and moved around the world! Here are a few pictures from that day.

Lots of suitcases!!

First stop, Chicago! This was the first flight for the kids and thankfully they all were great travelers! There were 40 mph winds that night and the plane landing was kinda scary. Due

We have found airport lounges to be very helpful when traveling with 4 small children!

They could hardly wait to get their hands on some Surprise Eggs!

Our flights were in the middle of the night, so this little guy was exhausted!

This little guy wasn't!

We were so excited to finally land at our new home! What wasn't so exciting was that 9 of our suitcases didn't land with us! (Thankfully, a few days later they did!) Isabelle was so exhausted that she found a nearby bench and went to sleep while Bob was talking with the airport officials.

New Home

About 10 days after we arrived, we headed to language class! Had to have a "First Day" picture!

One of our favorite local dishes! We eat this alot!

The local outdoor markets sell these items in bags.

Another local favorite of ours is the bread store. The bread they make is delicious!

We celebrated our 11th anniversary on December 22nd!

New Home PIctures

The kids were so exhausted from the travel that they climbed into the bed themselves and were out cold!

Yes. That is a squatty potty!! Best $200 we have ever spent was to replace this with a toilet!

Jet lag for the win!

Notice I switched out the lighter colors for the darker colors, because..KIDS!

One thing I love about our new home is that they sell all sorts of pink stuff here. So, pink it is!
