Dirt and Curls

It's finally summer and I'm loving the warm weather. We have not been outside much though because we have ticks in our backyard and they kind of scare me. I know it's silly, but I just don't like going out there right now. I found a small one on Ilya that had attached, but thankfully not for long. I decided that I needed to just do it and pray the bug spray works. I think the cutest pictures of kids can be taken when they are playing outside and just covered in dirt. We usually come in and take a bath right afterwards and the water is black. (I got these chairs at two garage sales for fifty cents a piece. They're great!)

Bobby does not care to hold still long enough to take a picture. He stopped and smiled for a brief second but I missed it. All my pictures were of the back of his head.

 

She kept putting the chair on her back and saying "Bye. See ya!"

(This necklace was in the back of my Tahoe and I have no idea where it came from. I'm guessing it's from our garage sale adventure, so Sue/Rae if this is yours, I have it...)

 I'm wondering if we might be entering the stage where any time I ask her to take a picture, she's going to come up with a weird pose.

Happy 3rd Birthday, Bobby IV!

Today we celebrated Bobby's 3rd birthday! Bob had the day off from work, so he and his dad took Bobby to an auction and they spent the morning together. After they got back, we worked in the backyard for awhile and then went to a couple garage sales. We finished the evening with Bobby's requested birthday dinner-pancakes, eggs, bacon, and sausage as well as birthday cake and presents. It was such a fun time of celebrating our 3 year old boy.

The minute this little girl found out we were going to be taking pictures she had to get in on some of them!
