Jesus Loves Me

        It's never too early to start teaching a little one about the love Jesus has for them. So, I decided to sing "Jesus Loves Me" to Bellie yesterday. After about 3 times of singing it, she joined in. Not too shabby and pretty doggone cute. I can't wait until she understands what she's singing! (Too bad I couldn't capture the whole song though. Oh well.)

Graduate!

A couple more things to add for the week..

Yesterday, Bob completed his final assignment for his Bachelor's degree!! Woo hoo!! He even let me be the one to hit the "submit" button for it! It was a nice moment that I won't forget! Speaking of degrees, my brother-in-law, Ivan, graduated from Michigan State yesterday with his doctorate! We now have TWO Dr. Morrises in the family! Can't wait to celebrate with Bob and Ivan next weekend at our family celebration!

Today, Isabelle climbed into the tub again while I was in the shower. Silly girl.

This afternoon, my friend Victoria surprised me with a box of Krispy Kreme donuts and a very sweet card! It was so awesome!

Tonight is small group. We haven't been in a while, and probably won't be able to go for awhile since Bobby's coming soon. But, we're looking forward to hanging out with our friends tonight, and Bob especially is looking forward to not having to feel like he needs to hurry to get home to work on homework or something.

Induction....check!

BCIV is definitely taking his time to arrive. Thankfully, we have a plan in place! I went to the doctor yesterday, and we've scheduled an induction for Sunday night. So, if all goes accordingly, baby should be here Monday or Tuesday. We can't wait!

Last night, my sweetie nearly cut the entire tip of his thumb off while making me dinner!!! It was an awful sight! He's tough of course, but I wanted to cry. I think there has only been one other time where I've seen him in a scary situation, and the first one was when we had first started dating and he took a drink of water and started choking (he'd say coughing, I say choking...) ugh, just thinking about all this turns my stomach. I hate seeing my best friend in pain. UGH!!! (He had just surprised me with Oreo's, too..what a sweet treasure he is.) I need to change the subject.

The other day Isabelle and I went for a walk and happened to see some ducks in a field. She loved looking at them.

We have a rhubarb plant in our backyard, so yesterday I made a pie with it. It's a good thing I made it in the morning because it was 89 degrees outside in the afternoon and our house was roasting the rest of the day. I was a hot mess.

As for Isabelle's sleeping update...the last two nights she's slept through the night again! Hallelujah! Last night we had some major storms that even woke Bob and I up several times, but she slept through it all. Crazy!

Well, that's about all we've been up to this week. I'm so glad it's the weekend, and not just any weekend, but the weekend where hopefully the induction will work! (Pray with me that it does, cause it didn't with Isabelle.)_

Sleepy Sweetie

Still no baby boy..

       BCIV is definitely taking his sweet time. Boo! But to pass the time, we've had a couple of fun days. On Monday, we went to the mall and walked several laps with Michelle and Ellie and enjoyed a nice dinner and treat out! It was great fun! Yesterday, Grandma Susie came over to visit for a few hours. Isabelle loves her grandma! I love when Isabelle is so comfortable with people that she really could careless what I'm doing or where I'm at. Call me crazy, but that's reassuring to me.

 Last night, Bob was invited to go to the Tigers game with the CEO, directors, and some leaders from his work. The tickets were in a suite and I was glad he got to go and relax for awhile. He deserves it! I told him it was funny to think that he'd be at a ballgame on May 1st, because all along I've been thinking we'd be at the hospital that day. Haha!

Isabelle learned how to climb into the bathtub today while I was in the shower. In she came, dressed in her pajamas and everything. Kinda funny. She's having lots of fun playing with all the baby equipment downstairs in our family room. She took her little pig stuffed animal and was pushing it in the swing and putting it in the exersaucer. Cute!


She's still waking up during the night. Last night it was 4am. She cried for about 15 minutes after I changed her, but did finally lay back down. And was up by quarter til 6. Like I'm often reminded, she'll sleep when she's a teenager, I guess.

New words..

We're working on two new "words" for Bellie. She did happen to say both in her cute little way, but of course I couldn't get her to say both when the camera was rollin'!! Stinker! But, I did get her to say one at least. I'll keep trying!!
