Ilya is 10 Months!

Ilya is 10 Months old!!

This month she grew her first two teeth, learned to crawl and to pull herself up on furniture. She's been a very busy baby exploring all the new things around the house, and I've lost count of how many items I pull out of her mouth every day.

She is wearing size 9-12 months clothes and size 2 diaper. She eats all sorts of fruits, vegetables, cheerios, meats, and baby cereals. She loves to feed herself.

She naps 1-2 times a day, sometimes up to 3 hours at a time. She sleeps through the night and usually goes down for the night around 11 and sleeps until 9am. She doesn't really like to be held to go to sleep. She likes for me to lay her down in her bed. She's such an easy baby!

She's such a treasure and we sure are glad God added her to our family ten months ago! I can hardly believe we'll be celebrating her first birthday soon!

My kids happen to love adding accessories to their clothes. Last week, Bellie wore her brother's tie for a few days.

Bobby wore his dad's hunting hat for a few days.

I have been looking to get a wagon for several months now, but they're so expensive. My brother happened to come across this one for free! It is perfect for us and such a blessing from God!

I've been working on potty training Bobby. He gets special treats when he's successful. Isabelle also gets a special treat when he goes, since Bobby got treats when she was being potty trained. So, these two have been eating a lot of ice cream.

Bellie playing with her windmill toy. Love how excited she was to see it spin.

Ilya cut her two bottom teeth in the past ten days. She's close to crawling, too. It cracks me up, though, how she uses her head to lift herself up off the ground.

I love being able to compare pictures of the girls when they're wearing the same outfits. Isabelle was 8 months old in this picture, and Ilya is 9 months. A lot of people say Ilya looks more like Bobby than Isabelle.

Father's Day Pictures

I have to laugh at some of these pictures, because the girls facial expressions are very similar! We were spelling out DAD and BOB to make gifts for Bob and his dad, and yes I did only buy one B and D, so they had to be split up.

I think he looks "dreamy" in this photo! Too cute!

Jehnsen Weekend

This past weekend our family went to deer camp to relax and spend time together. It's funny how even vacations feel like work when you have little ones. Unfortunately, Ilya and Bob were both sick with fevers and sore throats, etc. Besides a runny nose, Bobby was feeling alright.

This kid and his love for sunglasses...

The kids and Daddy reading a story before bedtime.

They both did great sleeping in their own beds. Bobby fell out of bed each night, but apparently that was no big deal. He never cried or even woke up. One morning they were playing and Bellie was pretending to feed him the doll's bottle.

Heading to the boat. I love seeing them run after their dad. I'm looking forward to seeing Ilya join them in a few months.

Ilya isn't much of a fan of the life vest. She also didn't quite like riding in the pack and play out to the fishing spot. She sure is cute though.

These two joined her for a little while. For a few minutes they all played quietly together!

Another way to keep kids quiet on a boat ..... Feed them.

Ilya's fever ranged between 101 and 103 so she had to miss out on all the fun.

A picture from last year.

Ilya was a little fussy when we went to town one evening and Isabelle did a great job of talking to her and distracting her. I loved seeing them hold hands.
