Bobby and Bellie went to their first Spartan basketball game! My brother-in-law's cousin plays for Louisiana and he gave us tickets to the game. We were seated in the front row and the kids made it on the big screen a few times and Bellie got a high five from Sparty! It was a fun time! It happened to be around 29 degrees outside and I forgot to bring a coat for Bobby! Dang me! Thankfully, his cousin Emery let him borrow her extra snowsuit. Yep, it was pink!
On our way back to the vehicle after the game, we made a quick stop so Bellie could feed the ducks with Aunt Rae.

Four Generations

Friday evening, my mom, her husband and my grandma brought pizza over for dinner. We had a great time hanging out together. Mom and grandma had been shopping from 5 AM until 6:30 PM when they got to my house! Impressive! I was only a little jealous that I didn't get to go. Before they left we decided to do a four generation picture.

Black Friday 2012

One of my favorite days of the year happens to be Black Friday. For the past several years Bob's sisters, mom, grandma, aunts, cousins and I go out shopping. Sometimes we go during the day, and sometimes we even start out Thanksgiving night around midnight. Two years ago when I was seven months pregnant with Isabelle we went shopping from 10:00 PM to 7 AM. My feet were killing me, but it was all worth it because we had a grand old time. Typically, our tradition is to find out how much each person plans to spend on us and then we go pick out things that we like and we come back together and handoff those items to somebody else to pay for it. It works out perfectly because people aren't wasting their money and we get things that we like! Pretty awesome!
Well this year our Black Friday shopping was--what we like to call--lame. Some of us were still up at Houghton Lake, some of us were in Lansing, some went out at midnight to shop for a few hours, and some of us have little kids so we had to wait until daytime. Not only that, but two of us had vehicles that were broken down that we had to take into the shop. So, I ended up taking the babies to the mall for about two hours, and that was the extent of our shopping. Lame! The one great thing about it though was that I did get to go with Beck and Rae. Hopefully next year will be better!
On our way home, there was a Santa outside so we pulled up next to him and he came to the car window to say hello to Isabelle.

Thanksgiving 2012

This year we went up to Bob's grandparents house in Houghton Lake. The babies and I went on Wednesday and Bob met us there Thursday. We were more than ready to see him since he had been gone for just over a week. We came home Thursday night and enjoyed the rest of the weekend together.

6 Months

Bobby is 6 months old! He is eating baby cereal now and will start on puréed veggies soon. He's 20 pounds and cut his first tooth on Veterans Day. He has been sick this past month with croup and a skin rash but seems to be on the mend now. He's rolling over a lot more and likes playing with his toys. He has such a cute little boy laugh and smiles a lot! He is growing tired of the bumbo, swing, and carseat. He likes to wiggle out of each of them so he has to be buckled and that is unacceptable! Ha! Boy knows what he wants! He loves to be carried in the backpack, so that's how alot of my housework gets done! I usually hear him snoring away! He typically is ready for bed by 7pm. Since he doesn't have a pacifier anymore, it's been interesting trying to figure out how to get him to sleep. I sing a lot to him now. He's such a blessing to our lives and we are loving each moment we have with this little boy!
